Homecoming- what it meant to you and your memories of it

I flipping love homecoming. 

Freshman year: This is when i had my first airband and, to say the least, it was a gateway that led to alot of different experiences and meeting different people. I remember feeling very awkward doing anything dance-related. i guess as a freshman, who came out of my mothers’ uterus only moments ago, I didnt really know how to even move my arms yet. i still dont know how to move my arms yet. Anyways, watch this. its pretty amusing.

I remember i was so surprised with all the cheering and the unity our class had, which is why i think mission homecomings are the bomb. In retrospect, I’m so glad i was a part of this because of the people i got to meet and the relationships i got to make. All in all, it was a fun, stupid and awkward rite of passage to my life at mission.

Sophomore year: twas pretty fun. Im happy i got to meet the two new girls in our airband :B. and i loved doing our ridiculous homo band which i remember we made like a WEEK before ahahahaha.

junior year: junior years homecoming was hella raw. I loved all the work and sweat that went into it. Gbags was really fun, and Jeffrey’s company was one of the best learning experiences i had. juniors killed it imo nuff said.

Jeffrey Liang, if you are reading this, i just wanted to say i hella appreciate all the work you did. I know it must’ve herrrrra hard to do alot of this alone ahaha. And looking back, i get more excited watching the company airband because its full of hella energy and movement. respects.

Senior year: senior year was my “break” year where i got to chill and watch homecoming. it was really nice since i got to appreciate our classes’ amaijing performance as a member of the audience. I was pretty amazed at all the deco, senior lounge and the craijy class unity. The skit was hella coos also. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Thanks to everyone who made these past homecomings amazing… especially those who worked behind the scenes. I couldn’t ask for better experiences.
